Established in 2022 we are an Independent Financial Advisory service based in Glasgow with clients the length and breadth of the UK.

David has worked as an IFA for over 20 years with experience in all areas of financial planning, his favourite aspect of his job is getting to know his clients in order to give them the best advice he can. His main area of specialism is goals based retirement planning ie. using cashflow modelling and suitable investment planning to show clients how they can fulfil their financial objectives in the long term.

Outside the office David is married with 3 children, he loves spending time with them and socialising with friends. He is a keen golfer and helps out with grass roots football coaching for his 2 sons teams.

Alan has over 20 years experience of building his financial services company Caledonia Financial Planning Ltd which he sold in 2016. Continuing to work in the industry, his networking ability to expand and connect personnel and business’ to assist with their growth and financial needs led him to launch CS Financial Services with David.

Alan’s management and business development role ensures that he connects clients with the correct financial, business and legal advisers. His passion lies in the service he can provide to clients and the relationships he builds to help grow the business.

Alan lives in Glasgow with his partner and children and is a dad and grandad who enjoys socialising with family and friends.

Alan is vastly experienced having been in the industry since 1988 doing various mainly technical roles in investments, pensions, life assurance and banking. He has also worked in complaint handling and compliance roles over the years. There aren’t many financial products he hasn’t worked with and has seen the good and the bad, which drives him to help achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

He enjoys working in the IFA sector as he gets to work with the best products and have a more direct impact on customers’ financial wellbeing. He really likes working with the type of tight knit team we have with CSFS, and making sure we do the best job we can for our clients.

Alan and his wife sold up in Glasgow and moved to the Ayrshire coast a few years ago, where he enjoys watching a lot of rugby, gardening and cooking – it’s great to take ingredients straight from the garden. He doesn’t have any children but does have a cat who doesn’t always behave himself.

Lisa has over 15 years’ experience as a financial administrator. She has wide and varied experience with provider platforms and trading. Her daily role varies greatly – from obtaining client information, liaising with providers, submitting business and trades and updating client records. Understanding clients’ needs are the main focus of her role and building these relationships are key.

Lisa is married, has three daughters and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and walking her dogs. Now that her young family are at school, her career goals are to obtain the qualifications to move into paraplanning with the aim of ultimately becoming a financial adviser.
